Jaime Tiwiram

Jaime is the eldest son of the Tiwiram family, Shuar guardians of the Tayos Cave. Acting as Shuar guide for ours and many other expeditions into the cave, Jaime is a rich source of knowledge and guidance on the cultural and spiritual landscape of Cueva de los Tayos.

We are especially grateful to Jaime for the ceremonial blessings he performed for all of our team before entering the cave.
