The sound of water can be a powerful medicine, working at a sub-conscious level to soothe, allow release and to create an aural landscape over which thoughts can flow. In the rainforest water is a constant presence and also a reminder of the cyclical nature of things; the rain that falls on the forest nurtures all life within it, takes its course along streams, waterfalls, flowing to the great complex of rivers feeding the Amazon and ultimately to the ocean, where water is gathered up once again in clouds that drift back to the rainforest to begin the cycle again.
As you listen to the melodic small stream beginnings of this cyclical flow what thought cycles of your own flow with it? Can you trace the origins of your thoughts, their evolution and where they might take you? What might you release to the water along the way?
