THE SENSES AS CREATIVE THRESHOLDS

BEING GROUND

Delicate geometry

Beaming the echoes

And crafting the joy

Of being with place

And the senses

Slow your breath

Drink in your essence

Feel what emerges

DREAMSEED

GUIDED MEDITATION

There are infinite ways to play the various senses and therefore infinite creative thresholds to explore. Being in connection to nature gives us a gentle being ground from which to create gentle music for ourselves and help us connect to the landscape from a place of vibration, texture and colour.

If you can imagine your body as a musical instrument

- - - - - - - - - such as a flute - - - - - - - - -

and your physical senses as the apertures of this instrument

- - - - then imagine your awareness and presence - - - -

as the breath and hands that decide which notes to play,

- - - - - - - and in turn - - - - - - -

which song to compose

- - - - - - - to connect to the world around you - - - - - - -

This multi sensory and multi dimensional conscious connection can elicit feelings of transcendence and wholeness as well as connect various areas of our brain in novel ways.

When you can access a place of drinking in the joy of the senses in nature - - in silence - - and stillness - - is when you can be in conversation with what is hidden or invisible in your consciousness and welcome in surprising outcomes.

I have designed this meditation to help you explore these concepts in an embodied way, enjoy!
